Sample request
A creator's request for a free product from a seller, in exchange for a video or LIVE about it.
Also known as: Free sample
Creators can request free samples of affiliate products, and the seller decides who gets one. Who can request depends on the market: in the UK, creators with 1,000 or more followers; in the US, creators with sales in the last 120 days, for requests from the Product Marketplace. TikTok’s UK, EU and US guides give the creator 14 days from delivery to post a video or go LIVE. In the UK, a seller has seven days to review a request before TikTok cancels it. Our guide to TikTok Shop free samples covers the rules in each market.
