Cookie Policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. We also use similar technologies that work the same way, such as your browser’s local storage and session storage. In this policy “cookies” means all of them.
What we use and why
Strictly necessary, always on, no consent needed. Your cookie choice (inflow-consent, in local storage) remembers what you chose on the cookie banner, until you change it or clear your browser data. The referral code and campaign tags of the link you came through (inflow-attr, in session storage) are kept while you browse and disappear when you close the tab. The spam check on our forms is provided by Cloudflare (Turnstile) and runs only when you use a form, to tell people from bots. The audience page you last read (inflow:lastAudience, in session storage: creator, brand or partner, nothing about you) opens the matching form on the contact page, and disappears when you close the tab.
Referral memory, only if you allow it. A first-party cookie named inflow_attr remembers for 90 days which partner’s link brought you here, so that the partner is credited if you apply later. It is written only if you allow it, and removed if you take your permission back.
Analytics, with cookies only if you allow them. Google Analytics counts visits and shows how pages are used. If you allow analytics, it uses cookies set by Google, whose names start with _ga, and the site also keeps in session storage which call to action you last clicked (inflow:entry: the section, the page, the audience and the market), so we can see which part of a page led to a request; neither is written without your consent. If you do not allow it, no analytics cookie is set or read: Google Analytics receives only signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed or a form was started, which carry no identifier stored in your browser and are used to estimate visits in total. Like any request on the internet, these signals reach Google with your IP address. Google Analytics never receives what you type in a form.
YouTube videos. The videos on our Home and About pages are YouTube’s embedded player, which loads when the video area is shown on the page. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. When a video is shown or played, YouTube, a Google company, may set or read cookies or similar storage in your browser and receive your IP address, under its own privacy policy. The “Watch the recap” links open the video on youtube.com, where YouTube’s cookies apply.
Marketing, only if you allow it. If you allow marketing, Google may set and read advertising cookies (for example those whose names start with _gcl) and use your visits to measure our ads and to show you our ads on other sites and apps (Google Ads remarketing), and, through Google signals in Google Analytics, for reports on the age, gender and interests of visitors in total. Google may link this with your Google account if you are signed in and allow personalised ads there. If you do not allow it, no advertising cookie is set and Google is told that you refused. We do not store other preferences, such as your language, in cookies: the language is part of the address of the page.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks you to Reject all, to Manage or to Accept all. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are off until you allow them, and rejecting them does not limit what you can do on the site. “Manage” opens a panel where you can allow the referral memory, analytics and marketing one by one; “Accept all” allows all three.
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. Taking back your permission for the referral memory removes the cookie. Cookies that another company has already set may stay in your browser until you delete them in its settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings; the parts of the site that depend on them may then not work as described here.
Other companies
Cloudflare, Google and YouTube act under their own privacy policies for what they do. Your data may be processed in other countries, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy, and the list of cookies in it, when we add or remove a tool. The latest version is always on this page with its date.
