Where TikTok Shop is open.

TikTok Shop is open for local sellers in 19 markets on our list: the UK, eight EU countries, the US, Mexico, Brazil, Japan and six countries in Southeast Asia. Local sellers cannot register yet in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or Türkiye. TikTok announced Austria for June 2026, but TikTok’s EU seller policies still list eight countries, so we mark it as reported. The list of TikTok Shop countries changes often, so we keep it here, with a source and a date for every entry.

What do open, reported and closed mean?

• Open: local sellers can register. TikTok has confirmed it, or reporting is consistent.
• Reported: sources disagree, or no source confirms that local sellers can register on their own. Check Seller Center before you plan around it. Austria, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Greece and Hungary sit here today. TikTok announced Austria for June 2026, Portuguese press reported a launch there in June 2026, and seller guides list the other three. TikTok’s Sell Across Europe page lists all five as markets EU shops can ship to, but TikTok’s EU seller policies do not list them as registration countries.
• Closed: local sellers cannot register yet. In Saudi Arabia, EcomCrew reports that shoppers can buy from cross-border sellers abroad, but there is no local shop or Seller Center. For the UAE and Türkiye we found no confirmation that buyers can order.

Sources disagree on the exact count. Lists published in August and September 2026 ranged from 21 to 24 open markets, partly because some of them counted the markets we mark as reported.

Which TikTok Shop countries opened in Europe in 2026?

TikTok announced in its Newsroom that TikTok Shop would open in Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland on 15 June 2026, joining the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany and Italy. TikTok’s EU seller registration policy (September 2026) lists Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland but not Austria, so we mark Austria as reported. TikTok also introduced Sell Across Europe, which runs from the EU into the EU: a seller in one EU market can localize listings and ship to the other EU markets where TikTok Shop is live.

Selling from the UK into the EU runs under the same name: TikTok’s UK seller registration policy uses Sell Across Europe for UK sellers who open EU shops, and ChannelX calls the route Sell Across EU. ChannelX and EcomCrew report that a pilot began on 21 September 2026, and ChannelX reports that from 19 October 2026 eligible UK sellers can reach 12 EU countries. In the other direction, from the EU into the UK, TikTok’s EU seller registration policy lets sellers with a shop in one of its eight EU countries apply to open a UK shop through Sell to UK. Shipping and returns terms differ by direction, so check the current rules in Seller Center for your route.

Is TikTok Shop coming to Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Türkiye (Turkey)?

Not for local sellers yet. In Saudi Arabia, the trade outlet Ebrun reported in August 2026, citing industry sources, that a launch is planned for the first quarter of 2027; TikTok has not confirmed it. For the UAE and Türkiye we have found no confirmed date. We mark all three as closed and update the entry when TikTok announces a launch.

What is the difference between a local and a cross-border seller?

• A local seller has a company in the market it sells in, for example a UK company selling on TikTok Shop UK.
• A cross-border seller sells into a market from abroad. Some markets let buyers order from cross-border sellers, so shoppers can buy where local sellers cannot register yet. EcomCrew reports this for Saudi Arabia.

A brand based outside open markets usually sells through a business registered in an open market that meets its rules; in the UK, that usually includes a business representative who lives there. Preparing now means less to set up when your market opens. Three groups can start now:
